Tuition and Payment

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, by check payable to Spanish Language Center.

Academic Year

The academic year will run from September through June. We will close for holidays. See Academic Calendar.

Pre-Kindergarten

$ 150 per month per student – for one 30-minute class every week.
$ 250 per month per student – for two 30-minute classes every week.
There is also a $50 yearly materials fee.

Kindergarten to Grade 5

$ 250 per month per student – for two 45-minute classes every week.
There is also a $50 yearly materials fee.

Commitment

Learning Spanish will require a commitment from the students and their
parents. We highly recommend that students attend class at the Center twice a week in order for them to receive the most benefit from the program. It is very important for lessons to have consistency if the child is to learn. Parents will see a marked improvement in their child's comprehension of the Spanish language with twice-weekly classes.

General Policies

The academic year will run from September to June and will be closed for Holidays (see Academic calendar). If a student must miss a class due to illness, please contact the Center to make arrangements for a make-up class. Throughout the year parents and siblings may choose to wait for students enrolled in the 30- or 45-minute classes either in the waiting area or nearby. Parents must be available at all times in the event of an emergency.

Inclement Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, the Spanish Language center will follow the Anne Arundel County School’s policies for closing. If Anne Arundel County Schools are closed or dismissed early due to weather, the Spanish Language Center will also close for the Day. Feel free to call the Center for questions if weather is questionable.

The Spanish Language Center will contact Parents to establish make-up times for classes missed due to weather related closings.
